In this high-powered one-day working session, you will identify and overcome barriers to effective time management issues. Proven time management and prioritizing skills will help you to concentrate on how to help determine how much time, energy and resources is needed.

Participants will learn to:

  • Use time management tools more effectively
  • Set goals and prioritize them to determine if activities are goal-directed
  • Apply a critical-path network system to estimate time and activities required for reaching objectives
  • Use less time putting out fires each day
  • Delegate effectively and discard the majority of paper that crosses your desk

Stress Management Workshops
 
Job stress management is vital for many people if they are to avoid burnout.
I am offering a 3 session workshop on stress management in the workplace. These can be presented individually or as a full day session.
 
Workshop 1: Identifying the problem
This workshop aims to help you identify your symptoms of stress, clarify what it is about your job that causes you stress, and to identify how you respond to stress.
 
Workshop 2: Calming Down - Learning how to respond more effectively to job stress
This workshop aims to provide various relaxation strategies, some which you can use on the job.
 
Workshop 3: Feeling Happy Again by Listening to What They tell themselves
This workshop aims to look at the role your self talk plays in generating negative emotions such as: annxiety, depression and anger. Participants will be shown how to monitor the negative thoughts, challenge them and how to generate more helpful statements.
 
The New Attitude Permanent Weight Loss Success Program
 
This program iis composed of a series of structured workshops conducted over eight weeks, based on the latest research covering nutrition, exercise, relaxation and behavioural issues. Time is also set aside to discuss issues that arise between workshops.

The target audience is women over 35+ with a maximum number of 10 participants per intake. Each week's session includes a complete lesson plan plus all worksheets and exercises.

During the Workshops:

  • You will set goals that will propel you towards your target. Traditionally goals in this area are focused on being overweight and what to do about it.
     
  • You will learn to recognize the subtle signs of real hunger.
    Our bodies are actually very good at regulating how much food we need and sending signals to tell us when we are hungry
     
  • You will learn to change your thinking to change your weight.
    In order to overcome weight challenges, a person needs to first know where they are starting, what the beliefs about themselves and their weight problem are.
     
  • You will learn to how to break the cycle of overeating in response to triggers and stress.
    Most times people eat because they are bored, lonely, angry, guilty, stressed, miserable or tired.
     
  • You will learn to how to control and reshape your behaviour.
    Discover if you are stubbornly overeating, bingeing, or otherwise continuing in some repeated pattern of self-destructive habits and behaviours and what to do about it.
     
  • You will learn to transform your relationship with your body.
    You will move from a self defeating struggle to an experience of self-acceptance and enjoyment.
     
  • You will learn to design a life for yourself worth trading your days for.
    During the years of wanting to be thin we often put our lives on hold. and create a cushion between them and the aspects of living that are not in their control.
